A friend is giving me a 1957 vacuum ash tray accessory. He said it needs hoses. Was there any literature or in instructions that accompanied this accessory? Lengths of tubing? Hook-up where? Were there markings or"striads" on the tubing? joeyk3950

It would be in the 1957 accessory installation manual. Its available from the Filling Station.

Wow, I never heard of that accessory, did it just suck the ashes into the engine?

It sucked the ashes into a container that was under the hood.
