The Standard frame side rails are of a boxed construction with no X type center section just open. The Master DeLuxe frame has open channel side rails and what they called a YK (amost like an X)in the center. The Standards all had a straight axle and leaf springs And most of the Masters had the enclosed knee-action Standards also had 5 lug wheels and Masters 6......Yes there were about 800 Masters made with front leaf springs.Knee-action was $20.00 extra in 35 and 36 And most had the knees.

You didn't say what year of Master you are asking about. I assume from your name it is a '36. If not, can you please clarify the question.....Thanks
