WHAT IS THE GM NUMBER FOR VACUUM ADVANCE ON A POWER PACK, OR ARE THEY THE SAME FOR 2B OR 4B, OR DOES THE CARBUARTOR MAKES THE DIFFERENTS IN THE ADVANCEMENT.

I assume that you have a 1957. The power pac engine vacuum advance is # 1116118. Thr 2 Bbl and 4 Bbl engines have a different advance curve. The 4 bbl has a higher compression ratio and was designed for premeium fuel (in 1957 when octane were lower).
I find that my 1957 P.P. does well on todays regular gas inspite of the fact that I advance the timing greater than what the factory called for.
