That is a LARGE DECAL! You know that Billy Boy BaRRker is about the size of a sheet of plywood...(8" tall and 4" wide)

But the plywood has a smoother, more finished appearance!

Ouch.... that's COLD!!! We'd sold about 1/4 of the decals so far. I'm going to take 15 to Portland Oregon next week. It's a three-hour drive, but it will save them postage. Anybody else want to save postage? Ha ha!! I might be able to carry a couple to Denver in April. Nahhhh... now that I think about it, they won't fit into my carry-on. They're too friggin' big. By the way, the email address listed in the G&D ad is incorrect. The right address is on this ad: NOTE: There is a period in the email address.

Here are the instructions for installing the Large Decals. (Brother Brucie needed this... He misplaced his instructions. I sure hope the remembered to add cotter keys to his '34 brake rods.) http://vcca.org/wow/2011/VCCAtrailerDecal.pdf

I hope some of these large VCCA decals make it to the Anniversary Meet in July. I am sure that there will be VCCA members there that will want to put this decal on their trailer.
Please note that anyone can sell their official VCCA fundraisers in the Chevy Store at the Host Hotel in Flint. The only catch is that Diann, the Chevy Store Coordinator will not be selling each region's fundraisers. You will need to provide your own person to sell your fundraisers that your club brings. If interested, contact me and I will get you signed up.

I installed my LARGE DECAL today to my trailer. Here's some tips if anyone hasn't stuck theirs on yet. 1) The sticky behind the decal is VERY STICKY. Do not even think about letting it touch anything until you're ready for a permanent affixation. 2) I used the soapy water method. I highly recommend it. - Fill a small bucket with warm water. Add a squirt of liquid dish-washing detergent. Throw in a sponge.
- Tape the decal with blue tape where you want it mounted.
- Peel back the top half of the blue decal off of the white paper backing. Have your "friend" hold this with both hands. (Male or Female although the "former" is recommended.) It really is a TWO PERSON JOB.
- Grab the sponge and put soapy water on the back of the top half of the decal!!
- Have your friend pull the rest of the decal off of the backing paper.
- Put soapy water on the rest of the back of the decal.
- Now put soapy water on the trailer over any area larger than the decal.
- Now both of you hold the decal in place where you want it. Press it against the trailer - but RECOGNIZE that it will SLIP and not stay in place.
- Step back and ensure that it is being held level and is exactly the way that you want it. Tell your friend NOT TO MOVE. (If it's your spouse, then be polite.)
- Now slowly wipe across the decal with a rubber squeegee (or similar plastic edge), forcing the soapy water from behind it. Note that with one swipe, the decal will start to stick.
- Always wipe from the center to the outside of the decal.
- Continue with small strokes, pressing very lightly.
- After you've gone over the whole decal, then wipe it again with your squeegee, but press a little harder.
- When you're done, use a rag to wipe the water off the surface of the decal as well as the surrounding area. Then let it dry.
3) After a day, you can wax over the decal and trailer if you want to. 4) If your spouse helped you, then tell her (?) that she did a very good job!! (Buying dinner might also be in order.) Good luck!! PS. Yes, we will be bringing all of the remaining decals to the Flint Meet. Look for Don or Sallie Comstock!!!
