I'm speaking with a fellow trying to sell a mid-1920's Chevy truck. It appears to have been disassembled for a loooong time. How could we identify the year model of this truck? I can't find the instructions on posting pictures, so I can't send any yet. Not sure they will be terribly useful, as there seem to be extra parts. Thanks.

Is the truck a 4 cylinder.? If so 1928 and earlier. See if you can find some casting numbers on the engine, and post them here. Also a 1928 engine has two exhaust outlets on the head. 1927 and earlier has only a single exhaust port on the head.

The best thing to do is collect all the numbers/letters from any cast iron object and post it here. We will work on it for identification.
