Good Day All
I have a 1963 Vet with a Carter carb choke problem. The brass piston in the choke housing sticks. I have taken the piston out and cleaned the housing; but that didnt help.
Does anyone make new choke housing for the Carter 4 barrel carb?

I have an AFB on my 60 Impala 348 and that is a common problem, just the nature of the design that will get it all gunked up. I have to take mine apart and clean it every year. If you you need a rebuilder I have had great luck with Larry Isgro in NY (516)783-1041 and also Bob Kunz in St Louis (314)843-7545. I also sent you a PM with some particulars and personal observations of both
