is this normal or is the fuel line cracked?

Yes the fuel line is made with a seam. If it is not leaking then its not cracked.

Hello jgeorge,
The picture of the fuel line appears to be stained along the seam. You might clean and dry the fuel line and reconnect it to the fitting. Try pressurizing the line and check for leaks. Use facial tissue to verify presence of fuel moisture. If required, make necessary repairs.
