Raise the floormat in front of the passengers position. On the floor, nailed to the wood, you should find a VIN tag. Post the information when you find it and someone will tell you more than you wanted to know about your car.

I guess it's gone. Couldn't find anything on the passenger side floor. The number I'm looking for is 3CA0865912. Does anyone make replacement tags?

Your car is a Series CA Master and it was made in the St. Louis factory in August of 1933, which was very near the end of the 1933 model year. Your car was the 64,912th car made in that factory (serial numbers started at 1001). Send me a private message for information on a new serial number plate.

Earl, it sounds like the state assigned a VIN to you car, the Vin should indicate where the car was assembled and the Model (AC, AD ect) year and unit #. Check the post from Coloradobax for an example.
