Does anyone know the gauge of 41 Chevy body parts - exterior panels, floor pans, firewall, inner fenders; rockers, door pillars, roof?
Is it customary to use a single gauge (like 18) for all patches, regardless of location?
Cold rolled, or hot rolled?

Cold rolled 18 gage appears to be the material of choice.

I seem to remember that 20 ga was used about that time. It has not been too long ago but can't remember where I saw it. Maybe in the Fisher Body Manual.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
