I want to install a heater in my 33 Master. I have the correct heater for a 33 Master. Was there a template used to drill the holes for the water pipes & mounting bolts thru the firewall? Can anyone tell me the dimensions so I can make one? Thanks, Freewheeler

i did the one for my 35 pontiac by uing thin cardboard, makiny template while heater was on bench.then i set the heater in car made a mark by the water pipes.then looked under hood to make sure of clearance, guess what?the factory had plugs in prepunched holes.maybe yours does too.

Making a template is not a problem. I would like to have some dimensions on the firewall to go by, so I mount it correctly. I don't want to mount it too high or low. Thought there may be a standard mounting height. As luck would have it, there are no knock-outs or pre-punched holes on mine... Freewheeler

Which of the two different 1933 heaters do you have?

I believe there are 3 that are acceptable for 1933. See Service News below for OIct. 1933. ![[Linked Image from i1122.photobucket.com]](http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l529/chevyguru/1933/33heater002.jpg)

I have the second one pictured in the Service News article the ""Chevyguru sent. It is boxed shaped in a simi-V with two doors. (gothic style) Freewheeler
