I'm proposing we as a group "Help a Brother Out". Does anyone have the brackets that USPS lost? I'll sandblast, epoxy prime and color coat them free of any charge if someone else can help with locating them. Who's in? Al W.

I've offered the brackets from my '30 Sedan as patterns, but they will have to be removed, and I need to have them back, which means somebody will have to fabricate duplicates from the samples -- a lot of work.
But I think what Lexey really needs to find (assuming that the lost brackets don't resurface from the postal service) is a 1930 Sedan parts car that can be the donor for the brackets. To me, that's the question: Does anyone here on Chevy Chatter II have a 1930 Sedan (4D) that could provide the missing brackets and help out a fellow enthusiast?
As others mentioned, Lexey will have to provide a list of what's needed as the next step. I'm still hoping that the missing brackets will resurface!
All the Best, Chip

The parts book of March, 1935 does not list any brackets for 1929 or 1930, only 1931 and later. For 1930 the body to frame brackets at the lower rear corners appear to be the same as 1931-32. I have a pair I can send, also I have a pair like shown in photo 7 and the toe board pieces in photos 4, 5, & 6. In photos 8 & 9 I have these but don't know if they are the correct length. Photos show no brackets at the sill to hinge pillar but my '29 and the '30 parts car have them so they are available as well. In photos 1, 2, 3 the center post bracket is different from my 1929 Imperial and what remains of my 1930 sedan parts car but these should fit ok. Photos don't show roof pieces but assume you will need these too.
If you have old Chevrolets, other old Chevrolets will find out where you live.
