I just realized my 33 std sports coupe didn't have a sunvisor when it left the factory. There are no screw holes where it should mount & there are no pockets drilled in either the roof rail or the header for the pin. My other 33 std has all the correct holes. I know RH visor was an option. Was the LH also?
Thanks, Joe

I know they were here in Canada Joe so I imagine they were in the US as well. My '34 Standard coach doesn't have a sunvisor either.

Interesting. I never questioned it before. I always thought the LH visor was a standard feature & RH was an option or accessory....Joe

The Eagle (Master) comes as standard with the left visor. The right visor is an accessory and the holes are already marked for installation.

I have been looking for the right visor for my Eagle for several years and have had no luck.

The LH visor is hard enough to come up with. The RH is next to impossible. Just curios, do you have an Eagle or a Master?

Yes, it is an early car without the permanent window divider, and is a true Eagle.

Original except for a paint job many years ago. Mileage, 54,000. Body style is the coupe, and 6 wheels. Front cover June 2008 G&D.

The 1933 Standard Engineering states it has a visor and the proving ground test car had a visor. The 1934 Std....same.
Is it just the Canadian cars that did not have a visor?
The 1934 accessory book shows an accessory right hand visor and states it matches the production L.H. visor. No accessory L.H. visor is mentioned.

My '33 Master has the correct pin holes in front and at the side but the visior has been replaced with the wrong item. It does not swing to the side and has no pins. If anyone has the correct hardware and/or visor (Left) I would be very interested in purchasing. I'm at Info@bridgeceekinn.com. Thanks, Gene

I guess they just missed during production. It's the 16th 33628 built in Oakland. Built Feb of 1933. There are no holes drilled for the visor. Weird!!

My Canadian '34 Standard is an early 200 series. It has many "carry over" parts from the '33 Standard model. Like your '33 Joe, mine does not have any pre drilled holes for a left handed visor. I know the Master models had a left handed visor but I have not heard of any Standard models (for these years) that had a factory installed left handed visor.

Wrong number-I think you have one too many digits.

OK-that`s a good number and everything looks correct with the visor except it does not have the embossed line around the edge The correct one actually has a widows peak pressed into it.

I agree with n2chev. That may be a visor for the 33, but does not match the one I have which has the embossing around the front edge.

I am so frustrated that I am about ready to purchase a plain visor like this one and then go for the right plain visor to match.

I already have a collections of visors which were GUARNTEED to be the correct visor for the EAGLE.

That's funny, I put too many two's in the number even after I checked it and whoever corrected me put too many threes. Anyway you're right about the embossing and I can't see it in the picture however the picture quality is so poor I don't know how you can see that.
