Thank you.
It hasn't arrived here yet. This was the first I'd heard about it.

Thank you. It arrived today (Jan.3rd). Once again I am surprised that Old Blue would be selected. I just checked on her in the shop and she is blushing with pride.

I got mine yesterday. Nice 37 and 40 Chevrolets featured.

Mr. Holland showed something that I didn't even know existed, must less having ever seen one: The crank bracket. Thanks, Raymond.

It is strange that it has reached the balmy south east Texas area and mine hasn't arrived in the DFW area yet.

DD,
Yours will be on the next Overland Stagecoach. They don't run that route every day. Be patient. Grin

I understand Charlie, the stagecoach probably got attacked in Oklahoma. The South East Texas delivery was probably by boat.

We have a PO Box and know virtually every postal clerk. A few homemade cookies (occasionally) and a kind word get us "first class" service.

That may well be Chipper.

But I still find it odd how the receipt of the monthly G and D seems to hop and skip around various areas of the country.....and even within states. Seems very weird to me....

Hey Bill, in State delivery must be on foot here. I got mine yesterday, a week later than you and Ray. I could have rode my bicycle to Ray's, read his copy and made it home for dinner.

I usually get my G & D most of the time here lately before the first of the month but it has been comming later the last few months. I live approximately 75 miles from the printer which is located in Jefferson City, Mo. I guess we are going to have to whip up a big batch of cookies.

These two most recent posts from Roger/Imfalco and Hoppy "prove" my point about how weird the arrival situation is each month with the G and D's. I find the whole thing a case of wonderment. And not like Christmas wonderment for the Grandkids.....

I left Cookies and left over Christmas candy in the mail box and BINGO my G & D arrived today. I also noticed that 30 model Roadster Delivery for sale. My 30 model Delivery deal looks better all the time.
