I have a newly acquired 32 chevy body that i got just before leaving for college. I was wondering what kind of chassis i can use. Do people use S-10 truck frames?? are there an good project sites??

Sounds like you are interested in building a street rod. This site is for the restoration of original cars. You might want to check out one of the many street rod sites available on the Internet and one of them can probably give you a world of information that you will need for your project.

Sounds good but i plan on keeping the car looking like it original. The love originality but where am i going to find all these parts In the northeast??? I heard most of the cars were scrapped and turned into trailers. Now thats just a rumor. probably not true

I have a '32 frame and some other parts available.


If you have old Chevrolets, other old Chevrolets will find out where you live.

If you are patient you will find a running gear within a reasonable distance to bring home. Keep an eye on ebay and local papers in your area. You can also post on the chat for this. If not a member of the VCCA Join and you will have free advertising. Good luck!
