What are the STD 1926 Superior V Crankshaft Journal Sizes Mains: Front Center Rear and Rods Can's seam to find my handy spec book, wondering if someone could post this info.

Front main bearing journal is 1.375" diameter,centre main bearing journal is 1.687" diameter,rear main bearing journal is 1.750" diameter.Connecting rod journal diameter is 1.500" diameter.These are all standard diameters.Hope this helps out.

Thanks for the information, and as I suspected, I had my crank turned .020/.020 . I don't have my notes with me but I measured them last night and recall the rod journals were 1.480 and the center main 1.665. And these were just quick measurements to get an idea of where I am at. I was helping to pour the main bearing babbitt for my Model A Phaeton and trying to figure out if I could make a jig to pour the babbitt for my '26 Touring

Just to clear the information, the figures I gave above in my last post is the WIDTH of the center main. The reference quoted above does not give this information, however it gives the max front to rear as .006.

I will post my results, I may not get to setting up a jig until about mid February. Now that I see how the KR Wilson (KRW) tool works I am going to somewhat use it as a guide. It's the 3 different main bearing sizes that will take extra machine work. No problem, just time and money.
