Does anyone know of a source for a lamp socket for a 41 license plate? Thanks, Mike

You may be able to find something that will work at NAPA. You will need to find a socket that has the correct pin configuration to match the bulb and the correct connector in its base. YnZ Wiring is another possibility. Sid

Blue Streak catalog lists S 38N as a license light socket for 1946-52 Chevrolet. Might work if still available. This is from a 1970 catalog. Neil

Mike I posted a note on this in another form. I just used a reg socket that fit and slid it in with the lens and cover and screwed the cover on. { I did have to take it apart and solder a ground wire to the side of the socket as the old one snapped in and I could not find the proper one. it works fine.
