Was fuel injection available as an option on all engines?
We have a convt with F/I but can't tell which motor 283/250.283/290 or 348. please help. You can call me@941-224-5786.

a 348 is easy, it has different valve covers than a small block.

fi was only available on the small block chevys and corvettes(although pontiac had a rochester fi unit that shared some of the corvette/pass car rochester units). you cpould order the fi engine as a 283/250 hp(hydraulicd cam and lifters) OR GO FOR THE 283/290hp (solid lifters and Duntov cam). no 348s were available with fi.mike
