The head screws are so rusty, I can't use an ordinary driver to take them out. I don't seem to have any luck using easy outs most of the time. Any other suggestions?

You may want to soak in a product such as Kroil.

If possible to use heat (I do not know how delicate the SS molding may be)... heat the screw until its red - then let it cool. It will come out.

here is what i do for many stuck frozen parts, tools etc.get parrifin wax, heat part ,not red hot,use whatever heat source that is safe for what you are workin on.in your case matbe soldering gun.heat part hot enough to melt wax, appliy wax to part let it run in,it will loosen almost immediatly.it don't wok as well if you rub wax on then melt.i have taken out many bolts, screws and fixed many froze tools this way, good luck
