Help, where can I get a gas tank for my 34 master town sedan (not stainless), or does anyone have measurements so I can find out what years will fit? A 35 standard looks to be the same, but I'm not sure. Thanks!!

The '35 Standard tank is not the same number per my Parts Book. However the '33 passenger Eagle tank is listed as the same as your '34 Master Town Sedan, so that might help you expand your search. Keep in mind that there were 3 tanks available for '34 Masters only the Town Sedan had a unique part number for that year/model only. Part number is 370516.
Sorry I don't have the measurements or sources for your tank.

I'm pretty sure what makes it different is the neck. If you have the old tank, a radiator shop could install it on another 34m tank. They have an index on them to help position...Joe

Good thought about the neck. All the capacities are 14 gallons and the shape is pretty basic...and probably all alike except the neck.

The Standard tanks had a lesser capacity so they would be smaller.

What I can tell you is you need the special neck otherwise it will not work. And it is a pain in the neck to get the neck into the pain in the neck hole.

Its not hard, take some bare 16 ga steel ,a good brake and make one. Its what I did for mine . I mig welded all the seams and pressure tested it. Dont try it with one of those cheap chinese combination machines . I also made the dies to swage the openings for the drain and sending unit. But stay away from the galvinized sheet that some body shop supply places sell. Not only does it make really nasty fumes but you get all this white crud inside where it was welded ,and since the tank is baffled you cant throw some old bolts and nuts inside and shake it cause you wont get all of it. I found out the hard way about the galvinized coating.Ivan
