I am in the process of replacing the sills on my 35 5W coupe and wanted to verify the width of the floor at the rear door jambs. Looking for the width from the left rocker to the right rocker right where they meet the door jamb. Any help would be appreciated, TIA

I have a measurement from the old floor pan of 44-1/2 inches at the rear door jamb. If I could get a measurement from the edge of the metal floor pan to the inside of the door jamb then I could make this work. Thanks...

I have not been on this site for a while and just noticed your post. I have a 1936 Master 5W coupe that I can try to get some measurements the next time I go out to the farm where the car is stored if you still need them.

CharlieLed,
I checked my '36 Master 5W Coupe this afternoon. I could only come up with an approximate dimension of 3 5/8" (both sides) between the floor pan and inside of the the rear door jam (I think). I am not sure that I was up against the actual vertical wood rear door jam. I did pry up the uphosery as much as I dared without screwing it up and seemed to be against the wood. My body and interior wood framing is orginal as well as the floor pan has never been off of the frame so should be close to as 'manufactured'. To measure it correctly the seat should be removed and the floormat removed. Hope this helps but I feel the dimensions should be verified.

I looked again today at my 36' 5W coupe and measured the distance from the floorpan to the outside of the upper 1" portion of the left and right rocker panel. At the corner where it meets the door jamb and perpendicular to the rocker panel measures 3 5/8" on both sides which was the same as when I tried to measure to the inside of the wood upright (but hard to confirm).
