I sorta worried. Anybody heard from Gene lately? Ain't like him not to be advising us on some of this latest stuff.

Thanks for asking and your thoughts.
My wife had a knee replacment last May (a month after my colon surgery). The surgery advanced her Parkinson's and she now requires more assistance. I do the washing, some of the cooking, the cleaning and the shoping. Also help her to get dressed, etc. She tries to do as much as she can.
I did next to nothing with the cars this past summer and have developed some "household" skills.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife's challenges Gene but I'm sure your new skills were quickly learned. I can empathize in that I had my right knee replaced last June and it is a bit of a challenge even without Parkinsons. Prayers are headed your way my friend.

Gene, the very best to you and your wife. I too have had to acquire those household skills you mentioned due to my wife's arthritis and recent pulmonary embolism attack. It's just what we do.
Try to enjoy the holiday season.

Please know my family will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for ALL the advice and assistance too.

From my experience the most challenging part of helping with the domestic chores is the cooking. My word; what's wrong with sardines and crackers any way????

Gene,

Sorry to hear about what's going on at your place. As others have expressed, I also feel for both of you and want you to know you're in the Fuller's thoughts and prayers.

Let's face it, you've got way more important duties to deal with right now. But as the Dog pointed out a few posts back you're still here helping us out with posts full of info, help and encouragement.

I'm sure we all admire your efforts at home and thank you for your continued presence here in chat.

Best wishes to both of you.....

Bill.

Gene, I'll echo what the rest of 'em here have written, and wish you and yours the best this Christmas season.

Frankly, if your knowledge and abilities regarding helping your wife equal even 1 percent of what you know about these old Chevy's, then she's in most excellent hands...
