Anyone have a good head for a 29 they would be willing to part with for a price? I was told yesterday by the shop that the head I have is cracked and they would not be comfortable attempting to fix it with surety. This is my first rebuild so I don't know what to do or how hard I should push the repair. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

I do not recall the name of it but there is a Head repair place in Iowa. I spoke with them on the phone and they sure sound like they know their business. I think the cost is around $300.

Erik-you might want to give this place a call. They specialize in ceramic injection.

Driving truck to Phoenix tomorrow, think I may have one or two 1929 cylinder heads that look ok.
If you have old Chevrolets, other old Chevrolets will find out where you live.
