I understand from what I’ve read on the chat page that there will be normal points judging at both the Central and 50th Anniversary Meets next summer. I know that Ray Holland and I are both planning on having fresh cars out of the shop for these shows (and we can’t be the only one’s). Meaning that we will both be at Junior level at the central meet and then Senior level at the 50th Anniversary, assuming that you make it past the Junior level. So how are we going to handle this? I know that when we judge for Senior we need to present our Junior oval, but we would not have gotten this yet since the meet took place days earlier.

John, Dave or anyone have any thoughts about this? Also how do we fill out our meet registration?

Thanks,
Bruce

It will not be a problem, and there is no need for any concern. If there is no time to mount the oval due to time constraints I think we can waive it on this case. I have a feeling the Chief Judge will be at that meet also. We are not talking about a large number of cars so it should be rather easy to solve any problems and get any needed answers.

The Central meet registration will be in the G&D next spring. There will be a line on the registration form for the Central Meet in Dundee that will say something like:
Will this vehicle also be judged at the 50th Anniversary Meet in Flint next week? ______Yes ______No

That will let us see who is going to both meets. For example, if you are going for a Junior Award at the 48th Central Meet you may be eligible for a Senior award in Flint. The chief judge for Flint is already aware that the information from the Central Meet will be forwarded to the 50th Annivesary Meet.

That's great Dave, thanks. I'm really thinking about doing the central meet and getting everything done in a couple of days.

Didn't see that anyone responded yet to your question, but the Central Meet in 2011 will be in Dundee, MI. Just down the road from Flint. It will be held on the Friday and Saturday before the Anniversary Meet, July 15-16.

Have your csr judged at the 48th Central Meet in Dundee and then within a week, have it judged at the 50th Anniversary Meet in Flint. What a deal. I believe that the 2 towns are about 60 miles apart.

Hi Gang,
I will be doing the same thing myself. This will be my first VCCA meet in Dundee and then I am also going to the 50th in Flint.

That's also my plan. Now I just have to actually finish the '48...
