Howdy Gang, It's been a long time since I've been ableto log into the boards. i was wondering if anyone has a pic of the period correct decorate exhaust tip.

Chevrolet did not offer an accessory tail pipe extension in 1936. The first was offered in 1937 and it was a rather simple stamped stainless thing. The same one was used till 1940. They were reproduced for awhile about 20 years ago but are now difficult to find.

I have one that is a generic chrome one from the local parts store and it looks real nice

They are available on ebay but I have no idea if they are authentic reproductions or just someone's fantacy. They have a bowtie embossed with Chevrolet inside.
