Dont know what I inherited here so I might be posting to the wrong forum ![[Linked Image from i218.photobucket.com]](http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc269/Rank59/DSC01387.jpg) The rims are 6-lug 17 inch and the tires are 5.25/5.50 so that gives a general idea of the rim width. My question is what year did GM use these rims (I have all four)? were they used on both pickups and cars? what hubcaps fit? and were they used on other GM products? Any replys appreciated, thanks!

Hello Rank, and welcome to Chevy Chatter II, According to the 1929-41 Chevrolet Parts Manual, the 5.25 X 17 wire wheel was used from 1933-35 for the CC, DC, and EC models. The 5.50 X 17 wire wheel was used from 1934-36 for the DA, DB, EA, EB, ED, FA, FB, and FD models. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/parts/1929_41/41cp144.htmlHere is a link to the Model Series identification: http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/models/series1.htmHappy Motoring, Dan

6 lug wheels would be 1934-36 master models.

Thanks to both for getting back and Dan thanks for the welcome.
Chevy B are you saying that because these are six-lug then they only are a match to the years you provide. Is Dan's info to be considered only five-lug applications?
And, considering six lug was also pickups, were these ever used on pickups?

Hi Rank,
I can answer your questions.
All master type cars, including cars before the standards models came out, had 6-lug wheels. All standard models used 5-lug wheels.
As to the years, this wheel style was only used 34, 35, and 36. As I said above 6-lugs had been used for years.
I know that these wheels were used on 34 pickups, maybe 35 and 36 as well.

Thanks to everyone for getting back to me. I just put them on CraigList and have alittle more knowledge of what they are. I plan to give them a good home! LOL
