Hi I started one of my winter projects early and that is to get my front window to raise up and down. I need to know how to get the wiper mechanism off the header board. I will also need to know how to get the crank off as I can't figure it out. I have tried to push in the trim ring but it barely moves and obviously I can't pull it foward. Thanks, Cliff p.s. I did remove the screws for the wiper mech just incase someone asks. :o)
not bad, yourself ? Thanks for asking.

You remove the two barrel nuts that hold the wiper motor in place on your '32 and pull it out. The "T" handle on the windshield regulator board is held in place with a "U" clip like the clips used on the door and window handles. Once the "U" clip is removed the "T" handle will pull off of the splined shaft.

JYD I knew you would be around tonight and the first to respond. It is very much appreciated. I will check it out in the morning. While I'm at it, I should pull out the glass and get a piece of safety glass cut and replace the original. Any issues that I should be aware of ? Thanks again, Cliff

Hi I got the wiper "motor" off as well as the window crank. The crank mechanism was stiff so I lubricated it and it works fine now. My next problem is that the window is stuck in the closed position. How should I aleviate this? I took the side pieces off as well. Thanks, Cliff
