I'm going to have some made for my car. I got a sample from a friend last week when I was at Hershey. Would you like me to have some made for you? It will be cheaper the more I make. Anyone else want some?

Hey John,

Well I talked with my guy this weekend and the problem is the knurl. We are looking at getting something to do it right. So I'll let you know what happens, but I need them for Flint next year so they are going to happen.

I'll keep you posted.

Anyone else what some as well? It would make them all cheaper that way.

I would be interested. Saw a vendor in Hershey that had some reproduction knobs that were close, I think they were 30.00 each. Could have been made from stainless, threaded but without 3/8" stud,as I recall.

Before you get into making the knobs you might check out McMaster Carr. They have a lot of knobs available, that I have found are very near to a lot of vintage automobile knobs.

Hi Guys,

Here are the pictures everyone has been asking about. I really don’t think that you would be able to find something like this at Mcmaster Carr. If I was willing to use something close then I would use what I already have. If you do find then I’m willing to eat my ……..! You fill in the blank. sick wazzup drink

Thank you, I will keep my eyes open.
Is that a regular 1/4 or 5/16 fine thread?

Pump Jockey,

I met a vendor in Hershey that will recast the knobs if she has a sample to use. Do you have the one that is in the picture? If you have one she can make them up. I will look for her card that I have at home.

Hi John,

You talking about the Lady with all the SS parts? I think she was in the Orange Field?

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to put this out there one more time. I just got a request to make a couple more sets of 33 & 34 Luggage Rack Knobs. Anyone want in? The more we make the lower the cost.

Let me know.
