Steve, looks to me like the only thing left is to do something with your exhaust manifold. maybe a little high temp black paint or chrome. nice looking engine compartment!!!

You still need to chrome your plug wires.

I'm looking at the Stainless Steel split exhaust manifold the Chevys of the 40s has in their catalog. I need a 216 intake manifold to start slicking up to chrome plate. I have one on the 235 now but it takes so long to get things plated plus I want to get it SMOOTH on the outside before plating.

Looks neat. What is the third (bottom) plate/sticker on the passenger side cowl? Beamer

When I got the car from Texas (EBAY), it had 14 blue ribbons and several plaques and three stick on awards . All were from the 60s-70s car shows. I guess it looked pretty good back then. The lower stick on award says first place winner Odessa texas car show. I think the older gentleman that owned it drove it everyday untill his son made him sell it. I talked to the owner on the phone after I found out who he was from some old paperwork under the seat. He's in his late 80s. He was a really great guy. He's still mad about his son making him sell the old coupe.

Probably no point in me commenting. You already know what I think! A +++ I love it.... As for either of my sons, or my daughter for that matter, "making me sell my cars" --- HA, they better not try that kinda krap. Unless they're prepared to read a REVISED will.
