Was going to install top today on 32 Coach that I bought from Hampton. Called them but Saturday so no answer. My questions:

Received #4 and #6 tacks. I suspect one type is used for denim and vinyl, the other for hide'em. Which type for denim and vinyl?

Can I tack denim along all bows? Instructions simply instruct you to "tack or staple in place. Can I glue it to the bows? I would prefer securing the denim to all available wood, as it seems there will be a tendency to balloon.

If someone could answer these questions and provide any helpful tips on the installation I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.

If it baloons you are using the wrong material. The first top I installed on my '34 back in the early '70's was vinly roof material as used on modern cars at that time.It would baloon at fairly low speeds. The second time I used the proper roof material with a good cloth backing.I believe that I got it from Hampton Coach, it was/is fine.
