Anyone planning to go to the Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb this year. It is the first weekend in Oct, the 2nd and 3rd in Newport, Indiana. I am planning on taking my 28 Coach and burning up the hill. well ok, just plan to see how it does, that hill gets steep!. If any of you 4 banger guys let me know I can try to save a spot in the camping/unloading area for VCCA club members. I will have some Antique Oldsmobile club guys there also but they don't bite and have a couple really neat cars they are bringing. Just bring plenty of gas! There is no gas station in Newport! Here is a link to the hill climb website. www.newporthillclimb.com

I hope I am not going to be the only one there with a 4 cyl chevy this year. I ran the hill twice today and best time on a stopwatch was 54.09 sec. Car ran great. Going to be a fun weekend!
