Does anyone know rather it be in a Crash book, Body manufacturer, independent publisher of Frame Charts, Custom replication manufacturer, or even Blue Prints, if Chevrolet ever published diagrams with dimensions of the 1935 model cars? I know they are not in the regular Shop Manual, only lube charts. I am in particularly interested in the standard series frame but also the Master Deluxe. Would be interested in receiving a scan or copy of it if anyone has a copy? Thanks!

Are you sure that it is not in the 1935 shop manual? My 1934 manual has all the "numbers" Its in the index under "frame". The 1935 Standard frame is kind of a one year only odd ball and the only true X type frame for those years. The 1939 manual shows the measuring points but no numbers.

Hmmm... I was going by what someone else told me. If there are frame diagrams with dimensions for the Standard and Master in the Shop Manual, could you please scan or make a copy of them for me -especially the Standard series frame? Thanks!

Gene... thanks for the scan from the 1934 Chevy book. But unfortunately, the 1935 manual online is the same type as your 1934. Has the same sections, same photo layouts, but the 1935 manual only has something like 8 pages in the frame section and no diagrams other than lube charts further on in the book.
Any idea - anyone - where I can get a copy of the 1935 Standard frame with dimensions? Or does someone have photos of a 1935 Standard chassis or have taken dimensions from a real one? If so, may be able to create my own chart from various sources. Thanks!

I would look for a Mitchel's or other crash data book. Another possible source is companies that make frame straightening machines. If they were in business in the 30s or 40s they might just still have the data you are looking for.
How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!

I don't think Mitchel's had them that far back. Chilton had one volume that covered some 1930s but the book is extremely rare and VERY expensive if found (usually over $500). The Blue-Print books only go back to 1940 and Tru-Way only back to the 1950s. Not may other options other than possibly it showed up in some other Body Book or Service Bulletin or by some custome manufacturer of new replacement frames done "exactly" like original and not modified. Must be somewhere if they have 1934 listed.
