Can someone tell me what outside mirror I should buy for my 29 Coach? I would like to keep it as close to original as possible.

According to the books I have read one was offered as an accessory. I would like one that clamps on instead of making more holes in the car, is that possible?

Thanks for the help.

I got a pair from Gary Wallace that mount on the upper hinge pin. They aren't original but they look good and work.

An "outside" mirror was an aftermarket item and it was not a genuine Chevrolet accessory offered in 1929.

The ones I got are really aftermarket and for a model A F0RD, the hinge pin furnished requires a bushing (nylon) to fit the larger Chevrolet hinges. but what the heck, they L@@K COOL!

I am also looking for some outside mirrors for my 31. I have 1 that clamps to the door edge but that only scratches paint in the door jam. Id like to find 1 that attaches to the hinge.

These ain't for old guys any more.

I did buy 2 outside mirrors from Gary Wallace, they install on the top hinge pin. They are easy to install and look great. AND they didn't scratch the paint.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
