Is there a 'correct' color (Pantone match or other) for the blue paint on the '50 bowtie?
Thanks for any input.

Find a medium dark blue or Royal Blue). I use Testors model paint.
I have never found refeence to a certain color and not all Chevrolet emblems used the exact same blue.
The difficult color to duplicate on a 1950 is the gold emblem paint.

Thanks for the suggestions. Is there a reference color for the '50 gold emblem paint?

Thanks again.

Not that I have ever seen. Mine is still all original and in good condition so I never checked out the gold. There again I would take a sample with gold on it to a hobby shop and check out the Testors paint

I'll try that -- thanks again.
