I would suggest if you can't immediately find the part that it be made. It might be a bit more costly but can save months or years of delay until the part is found. Been there done that too many times.

If the part is the same as on a '34 Master, then I think i have a spare set.

I have a set for a Standard too I think as I have a beaten up Standard grille shell. Both sets are off. I'll have to figure out which one is which and kee the right one.

The Chev is coming along nicely.
You will be turning heads in Pacific Pines next month with the new car.

Dave,

My parts book shows a "Bracket, hood catch (front and rear). The name sounds right to me. There is no picture. According to this the part is the same on a '34 Master and Standard, as well as the '35 Master and Standard. So I'll assume they are the same.

Hi
I am on the sunshine coast - looking for parts for a 33 chev.
Would like to talk about where you got all your parts from and to look at your car if possible.

My email is russellcarswell@yahoo.com.au

Welcome to Chev Chatter.
I dont know of any 33's in your area but you might like to contact "Gassedaussie" (the posting above yours). Dave has a 35 in progress and lives on the gold coast.
I visit the Gold coast occassionally.
