This fall I need to replace the hoses and coolant on the old '51 Chevy, and this will be the first time since I got it this spring. I've looked on sites for parts and have found different looking hoses for what appears to be the same application - 216, manual transmission. Anyone know the correct Gates or other major brand part # that fits?

Bought mine from NAPA, got the formed hoses WITH the spring in the lower hose.

If you are looking for GM part numbers for these hoses, go to KHardy's site and look in the parts manual.

Hey Malcolm,

That's good advice from Bob.

You could also order authentic reproduction hoses from The Filling Station, Chev's of the 40's, etc. etc....
