With hot oil (driving about 20 minutes in the summer) and #30 or 10W-30 oill wil be 2 or 3 pounds with the original vane type pump at idle. With the gear pump changeover will be a pound or 2 more than that. At around 50 MPH should be 13 pounds or a pound or 2 less. With a gear pump 15 pounds.
The only thing recieving that full oil prssure in a 1936 engine is the 3 main bearings. All other oiling is from the low pressure side of the oil distributor valve and as long as the oil is flowing its OK.
