My 57 sports coupe seems to squeek more and more each day.
Going over a bump or even down the road with the windows down sounds like a bad box spring in a cheap motel. I am ashamed of the sound of my car even though is looks really nice.

Do I need the front end kit sold by ecklers? I did spray some silicone on the A arm bushings and it did help.
Any suggestions

thanks

Paul

The A arm busing are rubber and there is no friction there. The rubber just twists. If they are squeeking it indicates they are worn out and there is metal to metal contact. They all should be replaced. If it were mine I would then replace the ball joints and the steering idler arm bushings also....and have the tie rod ends inspected for wear.
When completed it will require a front end alignment ....... and steer like a new car.
