I posted earlier that I was going to hide my radio in the glove box (FM type). A friend of mine told me to hide it somewhere out of sight and get a radio with a remote to change channels and volumn. Whata think? I know ..I shoud buy an orginal radio. I'm just sayin.

I wonder if the remote would work if the stereo was hidden? The sensor would probably need to have a line of sight.
The remote would work fine with the radio in the glove box, when it's time for the original look close the glove box.
You are still going to have the original radio in it's original location, right?

All I have is the dial and knobs, just to get the orginal look. I really want a FM radio to play if I go cruising.

Get one with an RF (radio frequency) remote and you can put the stereo anywhere out of sight, even in the trunk so you won't have to lose your glove box. You won't even need to point the remote at the stereo. It's like two radios communicating with each other. If you buy one with an IR remote you'll need to maintain line of sight.

I'm not sure my antenna will reach the trunk, but a excellent idea. THANKS
