Anyone know how the clips work or what they look like?

If I'm wrong someone will correct me but I "think" the running boards are different between the M and MD. I don't believe you can easily put running board moldings on a Master because the M has the area where the molding mounts built up in the general shape of the molding. I've read that the MD's running boards are flat in that area. We'll find out whether what I read is correct or not. laugh A quick check of The Filling Station sits shows clips for ALL cars from '34 to '38 so I could very well be wrong. <CLICK>

Tiny,
You are correct. The mouldings will not lay flat against the surface on the M.
The clips are a twist type and the holes in the running board are slots with the centers enlarged.

That clip fits into a slot and twists. It looks the same as the clip that holds the side hood chrome in place. I just replaced those old rusty clips with new clips. My running boards don't have slots cut into them. HMMM The filling station sells the chrome trim and clips. (p.89) It doesn't mention for deluxe only.

NO. My Kodak camera loads up to a Kodak photo site to look at your photos on line. You can play around with them to modify them. This effect is called FUN EFFECTS. You can make a fisheye photo or change it to black/white or make a cartoon effect. I wish I could draw that well. I was just messing around.

The trim would not sit flat very well on your boards even if you drilled holes for clips that area is flat on the MD
