Hello there.
I have a 51 chevy with a 6 volt system that I do no want to change.
I want to install a 12 volt radio and 12 volt fog lights. I would like to know what I have to do and where to get the parts. Any information would be appriceated. Thanks Grease Monkey 123

If the 12-volt radio is transistorized you can purchase a voltage booster. The power of the booster is limited, but should do okay for the radio.

The fog lights are a different story. Don't know what fog light you are talking about, but the simple way for the light is to remove the 12-volt bulb and replace it with a 6-volt bulb. The 12-volt lights require much more power to operate than what the booster device can handle.

Chev's of the 40s and possibly the Filling Station.

If you don't have any luck let me know and I will provide a positive source.
