I have a full new gasket kit for a 194, Does
anyone know which way it goes. The gasket is copper
with a dimple, does the dimple go up toward the head or down towards the block?

Hi stan2,
This is my guess and may be wrong, but I think with a copper gasket, the raised dimple should go up. The rest of the gasket is flat, the block is flat. Setting the head onto the raised dimple concentrates those contact points at the head face. This, in my thought, would insure even sealing throughout the head. Good luck
