The film I looked at was a good insight to the conditions of that time.
Old216 I would think the body lift hooks would not be attached to the fender but reach further in to catch the main body but I did not look closely at the hooks as they were swung away.

At the end when the lights were going out in the houses, they didn't show anyone locking the doors or setting the alarm system. Times have sure changed. Best, Charlie
