man, i bought a new harness and now my parking ligths stay on all the time the only way i can get them off is to undo my battery. and also my gauge lights don't come on. what's the deal? have any of ya'll had the same problem. i thought new meant it would be fixed.

Is it possible you did not follow the instructions correctly? I'm sure the vendor that sold you the harness will help.

You must have a wire attached to the wrong terminal. It is possible that the harness is made wrong, everyone makes a mistake occasionally, but not likely.

i bought it from ebay about 2 years ago and just got around to messing with it. my dad thinks it is the headlight switch. i think it has something to do with the front harness. it has been cut and spliced more than hiedi motange

I would first check the connections on the switch and make sure the wires are going where they should. If they are, I'd then remove the switch and check continuity with an Ohms gauge to make sure it's functioning as designed.

ok maybe it is the switch. i removed the bezel to replace the fuel gauge and temp gauge so i took out the plug or whatever it is called. when i put it back in the dash lights did not work and the parking lights stayed on even when the key was off.
