I have sent some questions too Chevs of the Forties regarding their products. I use their "contact us" function on their web-page. They were not responding. One week later I asked again if they could send me an answer. Almost two weeks later, still no answer! I planned to order from them because they were the only supplier which carrying all parts I need (esp. 1939 JB shock absorbers).
Since I sent it directly through their web page, no spam filter could have blocked me, and I even check my received spams, but no mail from there either.
It is almost uneblievable that they are not responding to questions about their products. Anybody with the same experience?

By now I would have picked up the phone and called them. I have never dealt with them, but some places I have dealt with who get infrequent emails tend to forget to check. Or perhaps their email is down and they didn't notice. A quick call might clear up your doubts.
It's not how fast you can go, but how good you look at 20 MPH.

Unfortunately, some companies set up a web site, pat themselves on the back for being on the "cutting edge" and then just walk away from it and forget it. Makes you wonder about their management.......or lack of it! Contact the Filling Station - I'm sure they'll answer in a temely manner. www.fillingstation.com

Sorry to hear about his hassles with the computer and Chevs of the 40's. I have only good things to say about Chevs of the 40's.
B-U-T, I live within a half hour drive to their business. So, I've only dealt with them face-to-face, or on the phone. Not sure what's involved with a phone call from Norway to Vancouver, WA, USA. But I think a phone call would produce better results.

I bought almost all the parts and accessories for my '41 from Chev of the '40's They were very helpful when I had a question and the parts were good quality. I have nothing but praise for them. Don't give up. They have lots of parts especially for '41 Chev. JIM

Yes. They are good at selling. I had a very difficult time with them with an issue over credit for returned parts. I kept getting the run around from one individual who was responsible. I had to write a letter to the owner to receive credit due me. Fortunatly they are not the only source of parts and not my first choice.
