I fitted modern type shockers on the rear of my 28 some 30 years ago, made a real difference.
Cheers
Ray
Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great" I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/

Do you have some pictures? I am trying to add shock this summer. Our city roads toss the car all over the place and with aggressive drivers, it makes for a scary ride. I need to tame the beast so to speak.
It's not how fast you can go, but how good you look at 20 MPH.

And a big thank you to Ray for some inspiration on fitting modern shocks to the rear of my 28. After a quick trip to the USA to buy shocks (Canadian prices are insane), the total cost to install them was under $50. I have only gone around the block, but the car no longer gets tossed all over the place. My wife will be ecstatic and driving traffic will be a whole lot more enjoyable. I do realize this is not original, but if the car is no fun to drive, and people are scared to drive with you, there is no point in owning it.
Pics to be posted shortly
