Did 1928 Chevy have headlight bar pad's??
If so where could I find them, I have looked in ebay + other site's and found them for every other car but not the 28 Chey.
Could some one point me in the right direction.

They definitely did not have rubber pads. Might have originally had fabric pads impregnated with asphaltic waterproofer. I know that 1931 had the fabric pads between headlight bar and fenders. Have never taken apart an original '28.

Thank's Chipper
A friend of mine told me to try 1928 buick pad's they are very close fit for the Chevy, I'll try a set, but If they don't work out I have some webing that I could water proof and cut to size.
I will post my finding's on the 28 buick pad's and there fit.
Thank's a million

I cut pads from 30# roofing felt. Not as tough as originals but work well and are very cheap to produce. Scraps can often be obtained relatively easily.
