The recommend rim width is 5" on a 750R-16 tire. I think a stock 38 rim is 4". Is that a problem or is there some range that is excepted?

The 750 would most likely throw your speedo off. You need a tire with a diameter as close to 28" as possible if you want to keep your speedo accurate. I suspect the extra width might create some clearance issues on the front but don't know that for sure.

I changed the order. It now is a 600R-16. The height was to tall on the 750R-16. This tire I ordered now is the exact same measurement as a 600-16 but a radial.. I started thinking about the old tire actually touching the draglink. I replaced the orginal drag link with a new drag link that has an offset. The new drag link is a 38 part but it was a revision. Sandblast and paint for the old rims is $380.

Sandblast...$90
Paint...... $90
Labor......$200 ( $50 per rim)

I guess that beats $1200 for chrome artillerys.

I would like to probably follow the same path down the road. Was this a Coker tire and is it a tubeless radial? Thanks for sharing these details.

I ordered the Diamond Back 600x16 radials and sent them back. They looked very different in person as opposed to the photo. They look like truck or trailer tires, a very aggressive sawtooth tread pattern. The tire I ordered is on page 21.

I don't like that tire. The one I ordered doesn't look anything like that. I saw that one in the catalog. I'm with you .It looks like a trailer tire.
