I have my truck running but a major problem is occurring, she starts up and can even be moved but after a few minutes bogs down and dies out. I see exaust escaping out the carburator and my spark plugs are coated in black gas every time. What could be causing this to happen? PLease help me out i really am lost right now.

Could the exhaust system be plugged? Is the choke fully off at this time?

no the exaust is completely open from headers back no cats or mufflers, the choke is open till the truck dies then it closes and i see the smoke coming from it. seems like its getting flooded to me, is that possible if so how can i stop that, adjust the floats? down or up?

Your problem corresponds to the symptoms of a sunken float. Take the fellow out, shake it, feel it and see if it has fuel inside.
