Good question PapaDenny.
I checked Rick's 1st Generation Camaro web store and didn't find the paint. I then checked with the Camaro Research Group and didn't find any info.
There must be more info sites out there but I didn't check with them.
I would think that GM or Chevy didn't have a specific color for the Camaro but you never know. I checked on my car and it's grey as you said, but mine is undercoated so it's tough to see the actual color. I would think it's the same grey as other Chevy models or even all GM of that era.
I wish I could be more help, but will have to dig a little deeper. Let us know here if you find the answer. Maybe someone else knows.

PapaDenny -- check out this post on the Camaro Restoration Group Forum: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=3896.0 It doesn't answer you question completely, but does provide background on expectations for same from the folks running the "Vintage Camaro Certification Program." I hope this helps. Jeff

Jeff, Thank You so much, I just sprayed them semi gloss and this looks correct to me, leaving them primer grey does not protect them at all and would only stay grey a short time.I could possibly primer them and spray a light semi gloss clear but not sure how correct this would be and it is not my intention to build a 100 point trailer queen. Thanks Denny
