A freind of mine in CT has just pulled a 490 out of a barn. It was sitting there since 1957. I don't have pictures yet, but will post some when I do.

Questions - what year? It has an ID no. of 250586. Also, I don't know enough to describe the condition yet, but it is "supposedly" all original & in good shape. Price range for something like this? Anyone out there interested in it?

Thanks
Dave

Hi, We need more information. Places to check. On the floor in front of passenger seat, on the seat riser ends, on the dash, on a pad on the engine. Look for dates on flywheel, block, transmission, head. Any information on any of those locations. Oh, check on the edge of the flywheel for stamped numbers.

Fuzzy-33 I might be interested if the price is right for the condition it's in. I live in Waterbury Ct.
